Tom Ridge Serves as UGC Keynote Speaker

Strohl Systems was honored to have Tom Ridge share his experiences as the first director of the nation’s leading emergency preparedness and response agency in his keynote address at the International User Group Conference at the JW Marriott Grande Lakes in Orlando, Fla. on April 10, 2006.

Governor Ridge shared his opinions on the response to Hurricane Katrina, what a typical day was like working in the White House and the various types of threats that exist today including pandemics and technological threats. He also stressed the importance of not only planning, but also practicing continuity plans.
