Our “Welcome New Attendees” orientation may be just what you need to get you ready for the busy days that lie ahead. Strohl Systems’ Annual Golf Tournament
Sunday, September 28, 7:30 a.m.

Hosted by IBM Business Continuity and Recovery Services
This annual outing for our golf enthusiasts will be hosted at San Francisco’s Stone Tree Golf Club. Stone Tree remains one of the finest northern California golf courses because of its sand-plated fairways ensuring the finest turf conditions year-round, its accommodations for players of all skill levels, and its prime location in beautiful Marin County. Stone Tree Golf Club's attention to detail in design is only one feature that sets the course apart from other California golf courses. The course is the result of an inspired collaboration between venerable golfing figure and storied design expert Sandy Tatum, on-site design craftsman Jim Summers, World Golf Hall-of-Famer and golf luminary Johnny Miller, and Fred Bliss, member of the American Society of Golf Course Architects.

Alcatraz and Fisherman’s Wharf
Sunday, September 28, 10:30 a.m.

Perhaps the most famous former prison in the world, "The Rock" draws thousands of visitors every year to its echoing corridors. Alcatraz--home of the maximum security prison from which Clint Eastwood once fictionally escaped, where Robert Stroud became a "Birdman", and where Al Capone lost his mind--was also the site of a famous two-year occupation by Native Americans. After visiting Alcatraz you can wander around the shops and eateries of Fisherman’s Wharf, or stop and say hello to the sea lions who call the wharf home.

San Francisco City Sights Tour
Sunday, September 28, 11:00 a.m.

From the towering pillars of the Golden Gate Bridge to the quiet parks of Russian Hill, San Francisco is often a city of contrasts. The steep roller coaster hills seem oddly erratic against the deliberate lines and angles of the city’s high-rise horizon. You couldn’t possibly see all of San Francisco during this abbreviated city tour, so we’ve designed an itinerary of highlights, including some of the most beautiful and popular attractions of the city.

Wine Country Tour
Sunday, September 28, 10:00 a.m.

Enjoy the beauty, sights and tastes of the Wine Country. Upon entering the gateway to the Sonoma and Napa valleys, this tour will visit some of the most famous wineries in this world-renowned region. Attendees will enjoy stops at two wineries allowing time for a docent-lead tour of the facility and an opportunity to sample some award-winning Chardonnays, Cabernets, Pinot Noirs and other varieties from this region. It’s a daylong outing you won’t want to miss. Attendance limited to the first 80 people registering.

The Strohl through San Francisco Welcome Reception
Sunday, September 28, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

San Franciscans, who claim to have more restaurants per capita than any other city, pride themselves on their home’s varied and imaginative cuisine. While we’re sure you won’t get to all of them, we can bring a sample of some of the city’s restaurant fare to you. Join us as we sample the culinary offerings of Chinatown, North Beach, Russian Hill, the Mission District and Fisherman’s Wharf. Also sample some of the finest wines on our tours of Sonoma and Napa Valley at our Welcome Reception.

The Big Pacific Bell Park Ball
Monday, September 29, 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

We’re going to take you out to the ballpark! Pacific Bell Park, the new home of the San Francisco Giants, will welcome Strohl attendees to a night of fun and games. Along with enjoying great food and music, you get to take your turn at batting practice, visit the dugout, and tour this state-of-the-art facility. Whether baseball is your game or not, make sure to keep your eye on the Ball…you won’t want to miss it!

Round Table Networking Reception
Tuesday, September 30, 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

This networking reception will offer groups of attendees the opportunity to discuss a variety of industry and product-specific topics. If you are interested in moderating a session on a topic of special interest to you, contact Kathleen Aris at 800-634-2016.

“The sneak peak at LDRPS 10 was amazing, absolutely amazing. From the perspective of what I would like to see in the product, everything was there. A lot of customization that I have done in the past is already built into the 10 product. I am very anxious to get it installed.”

- John Pettit
