  Events: 2000 User Groups Conference

The annual Strohl Systems User Group Conference is known for its superior educational offerings; it's also known as a rousing good time for all. The 2000 Conference, held April 2-5, in Baltimore, continued the Strohl Systems tradition, with sessions on timely topics and product advancements along with fun-filled nights on the town.

"After the Disaster: From Stress to Success" provided insight into the future of LDRPS and BIA Professional, as well as the business continuity industry. Strohl Power Sessions, two-hour case studies on subjects presented by a panel of customers and Strohl representatives gave attendees insight into Client/Server, business impact analysis, Crystal Reports, BCP and human resources issues, and manufacturing and distribution center recovery. Other featured sessions discussed topics including crisis command centers, BCP strategies of the future, LDRPS and Lotus Notes, and publishing plans on the web, along with product specific sessions on LDRPS, BIA Professional, and Crystal Reports.

Though the conference is over, there is still much to be learned from the sessions and events our users enjoyed. Conference sessions can be viewed on the web site. We've even included some snapshots that capture the spirit of the 2000 conference.

If you are interested in participating in the next conference as a speaker, or have an idea for a session you would like to see presented, contact Kathleen Aris, Conference Manager, at 1-800-634-2016, or by email at karis@strohlsystems.com.

“A lot of the features we have been asking for such as the ability to put secondary and tertiary contacts in call trees and making the interface simpler, more intuitive and more flexible.”
