BS 25999- The New Generation of Business Continuity Management

Over the last few years, our country has experienced a number of natural disasters and deliberate events that have interrupted many companies’ abilities to sustain daily operations. Research has shown that 80% of businesses fail to recover within a year of a major disruption. 92% of companies surveyed reported that they have already experienced at least one event that has had a direct impact on their organization. You will also learn about the structure and content of the BS 25999 standard, including deployment methodology. A comparison of BS 25999 with NFPA 1600 and other best practices will also be presented.
